Mr. Kipling has gone Gluten Free!

Mr. Kipling has gone Gluten Free!

I never used to have much of a sweet tooth. If ordering two courses at a restaurant, I’d always opt for a starter over dessert.

However, since Josh and I started experimenting with baking, my sweet tooth has grown! So when Mr.Kipling gets in touch to send us some goodies, we’re always excited.

Mr. Kipling’s New Range

You may remember us posting about Mr.Kipling’s new Valentine’s Day range back in Feb, if not – check it out here! The only downside with the products is that they were not GF-friendly. We can eat gluten, but there are around 70 million people (in the US alone) who don’t eat gluten.

Well, that’s all changed. Mr. Kipling has brought out a brand new gluten free range which includes a lot of the classics!

We were sent a massive parcel full of the new range to try and I can tell you – it’s worth popping to the shop to give them a go.

Cakes

Included in the gluten free range are three cakes – ginger & lemon loaf, cherry bakewell loaf and apple loaf cake. The apple loaf cake was our favourite of the three, with the ginger & lemon probably being our least favourite.

They all kept for a while in the fridge after opening them, and go perfectly with a cup of tea.

Tarts

How could Mr. Kipling bring out a new range, without including their famous tarts? We received TWO boxes of their mini cherry bakewell tarts and they were delicious! You really can’t beat them, and being gluten free didn’t affect the taste or texture at all.

Where to buy

You can find Mr. Kipling’s new range in your local big Tesco, which luckily for me, is right opposite my workplace. I can see myself popping down for another apple loaf cake for the office soon.
