Keeping up with Jess & Josh #2

Keeping up with Jess & Josh #2

I am very hungover right now. It’s 1pm and I’m in bed, Bella is curled up asleep and I’ve got the new sereies of Love on in the background as I write this. I’m gonna keep it brief today because my brain can’t handle concentrating for an extended period of time. So settle in and catch up with what we’ve been up to this week..

Gym

I have finally rejoined the gym! Last summer I got into going 3-4 times a week but then got lazy and fell out of the habit. This week was my first full week back and it hasn’t taken me long to love it again. I go with my sister Rubie and it gives us a chance to have a good catch up, otherwise we would barely see each other.

TV Shows

We finished Mad Men this week! I’ve been wanting to watch Mad Men for a couple of years now but Josh didn’t think it would be for him. I finally put it on in Jan and we got hooked straight away and finished all 7 seasons in a couple of months.

It was also the season finale of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia this week, and it’s made us really sad. Josh has been watching it for 5 or so years now and it was what bonded us when we first met, so now that the future of the show might be changing (I won’t spoil it for anyone!) it’s sad to come to the end of an era.

Eating Out

I get Fridays off work (yay me) so I usually try and meet up with someone for lunch and head to coffee shops to do some work.

This Friday I met my mum at The Crescent for something to eat, and then headed to my new fave coffee shop Redroaster for a coffee with Caitling.

Friday night was date night so we headed down to Cafe Chilli, a thai restaurant we love but haven’t been to in about a year. We had a great night with amazing food and the review will be up this week!

The Weekend

Our Saturday consisted of shopping, Mcdonalds breakfast and dying my hair before getting ready and jumping on the train to Guilford. It was Josh’s step mums 50th birthday party at their local pub, where we caught up with people we haven’t seen in a while and drunk a lot.

One drunken train ride home, and we both collapsed in bed, waking Sunday morning with terrible hangovers. Josh has it worse off though, as he’s had to go to work today. To make it up to him I’m cooking a bit roast dinner for us. Later though, now I need to nap!

I’ll leave you with this photo of Bella trying to make her escape..
