Are you a Valentine’s Day sceptic or a classic romantic? Either way, Mr. Kipling’s new Valentine’s Day themes boxes make the perfect gift. Either for yourself or someone you love!
They’ve changed their messaging with cute little puns for the special occasion and Mr. Kipling sent us a hamper filled with their new range. Plus a bou-cake! Even better, we’ve got one to giveaway to you too.
Monday night I got home after an hour of Zumba, opened the door and in the darkness of my hallway made out a massive bouquet of flowers on the side.
“OMG. Josh has bought me an early Valentine’s Day present. FLOWERS!!! I am so lucky!!!”
I turned the light on to a much better surprise. It was a bou-cake! Josh did try to take the credit but this Valentine’s Day gift was from the one and only Mr. Kipling.
The bou-cake is made up of gorgeous pink roses, battenburgs, cherry bakewells and fondant fancies. I’ve never seen anything like it, it really makes a pretty picture. Along with the bou-cake we tried some of their cake range.
Josh has actually been begging me to buy some fondant fancies forever now, but I’m not too keen on them so I kept “forgetting”. He was overjoyed to find a box of the newly named Fondest Fancies with our Mr. Kipling hamper. They won’t be around for long.
The Viennese Whirls are my favourite in the Mr. Kipling range so I have put these aside for myself – Josh won’t get a look in!
We’re really excited to have a bramley apple pie (or two) with some double cream on Valentine’s Day this year, it saves Josh the effort of having to make a dessert from scratch.
Also included in our hamper were some battenburgs, cherry bakewells, country slices & bakewell slices. I’ll definitely be treating my colleagues at work with a box or two on the 14th of Feb.
So, like what you hear? We’ve got a chance for you to win a hamper of goodies alongside a bou-cake for yourself. Just head over to our Twitter and retweet this tweet.
If you miss out on the giveaway, there are 100 bou-cakes on sale for you to buy in time for Valentine’s Day!
