Delicious Alchemy recently sent us their Christmas range to try. You may have seen our previous review of some of the Delicious Alchemy range, everything is gluten free and can easily be made dairy free too.
When we opened the box of goodies we were very pleased to see what they had on offer. Inside, we found a big Christmas cake mix, a gingerbread biscuit mix and a sage & onion stuffing mix.
So far we’ve only managed to get around to using the biscuit and stuffing mixes. We’ve got a whole post dedicated to the Christmas cake coming up in December so keep an eye out for that.
These mixes are incredibly easy to use. In most cases you only have to add an egg/water/dairy free spread. They’re perfect for people in full time work, or those of us who like to go easy on ourselves.
Josh and I are not the best at decorating. It’s not where our strength lies. So here’s your chance to have a little laugh at our attempt decorating our mini gingerbread biscuits…
So good right?! We did these soon after Halloween, hence the RIP tombstones.
The mix was really good, you can’t tell it’s gluten free and they were easy peasy to make.
My dad gifted us with a leg of lamb last week so we used the opportunity to make a big roast dinner and try the sage and red onion stuffing. It took no time at all to put together, you just add the ingredients on the side of the pack and leave to chill for a little while. Then chuck in the oven for 20 minutes and you’re done!
It was really tasty and we’ll definitely be getting some more to use for roasts in the future.
We really love Delicious Alchemy as a brand and a product. Their packaging is bright and fun and all their products deserve a lot of praise. They have nailed the gluten free market and we can’t wait to see what they have in store in the future!
