Andrew kindly invited Sammy from The Third Place and myself down to review their extensive pancake menu. Our other halves & Pippa also joined us in their quest for something to revive them from the depths of hangover hell.
This was my second visit to Nowhere Man and it definitely won’t be my last. Their interior is an Instagammers heaven with succulents on every table, cute cups and saucers and big squishy sofas. As well as pancakes they have a big variety of cakes and cupcakes, a lot of which are vegan/GF. Their pancakes can also be made vegan or GF, a big plus for people with allergies!
Never having had bacon pancakes I decided to go for a sweet option of banana, chocolate & maple syrup. Josh went for the advanced pancakes which consists of bacon, scrambled egg & maple syrup.
Both are reasonably priced, my pancakes were £5.96 and Josh’s were £6.95. The pancakes were light, fluffy and slightly sweet. The portion sizes are generous and I actually couldn’t finish mine off!
With super friendly staff, a great location (literally 2 mins from our house) and delicious pancakes I can see Nowhere Man becoming somewhere we venture on a regular basis.
You can find them on 53 Upper North Street, Brighton.
