7 Days of Food & More… #8

I had absolutely no motivation to write this today, I’ve just been a right moody mare all day but then I had an amazing roast and it was so good it gave me the energy to put this out. It was pork chops, cheesy leeks, roasted & mashed sweet potato, veg and onion gravy. The bees knees.

I also had my first ever pumpkin spiced beverage today, I went for the frappe cause I’d seen Kat say they’re nicer than the lattes. I actually threw it in the bin after a few sips, it wasn’t terrible but me and Josh had just had a row and I was moody that it wasn’t the best thing ever. Bloody Starbucks.

My mum and step dad got married on Friday and just look how cute they are. They’re having a proper ceremony and everything in October in Mallorca with all the family but they had to sign all the paperwork in the UK before they left, so they had a mini celebration this week. So lovely to see two people so happy!

I’ve become obsessed with having this for lunch and I’ve eaten it for 4 days on the trot. It’s goats cheese on sourdough bread with piri hummus, carrot sticks, cherry toms, chicken & spinach. We’ve got a month until we go to Mallorca for a week and I’m determined to lose some weight before we go.

We had date night on Friday and decided to head down to BeFries which had just opened in town before going to see Sausage Party. Sausage Party was a total let down but BeFries was not! I’m going to write a whole other blog post on them, but if you’re in Brighton just trust us and head down.

It’s been a relatively quiet week, but September brings our 1.5 year milestone, Josh’s birthday, my step mums birthday and the lead up to the wedding so I’m sure I’ll be getting busier and busier!

What have you guys been up to? We’d love to hear about it in the comments!
