We first heard of and tried Cranes Drinks at the Foodies Festival back in April and loved the idea. Both of us much prefer fruity ciders (think Strawberry & Lime Kopparberg) over your traditional apple ciders so a cranberry cider was right up our street.
Cranes is founded by twins, Dan and Ben, who wanted to create an alcoholic drink that isn’t packed full of sugar. They both love cranberries so after trying to ferment them, they invented their 4% alcoholic cranberry drink – the worlds first cranberry cider!
We were recently sent each of the flavours they come in and at only 99 calories a bottle, we cracked them open pretty much straight after breakfast last Saturday.
I wasn’t too keen on the Original, as it still leaves that dry taste after drinking cranberry juice, but Josh loved it. Both of our favourites though was the Strawberry and Kiwi, with Raspberry & Pomegranate coming in a very close second.
Cranes is now stocked at Ocado for £1.99, so will you be buying yourself a bottle or two?
