Happy Sunday from us! Another week has flown by, let’s catch up…
I started following Femsplain this week after they announced that they would be taking a break from publishing new content as they’re trying to figure out how to support their writers by paying them – which is awesome! I immediately signed up to their newsletter and their emails genuinely brighten my day, you can subscribe here.
We were sent some Marmalade from Duerr’s this week and Josh is going to be making Gordon Ramsay’s bread and butter pudding with it this week. You can check out what other products Duerr’s have to offer here.
The lovely Emma at PartyLite sent us over a few samples to try this week. In our little package we had Berry Blossom and Blackberry Boudoir tealights which burn for 4-6 hours each, a Strawberry Surrender votive which burns for 8-11 hours and 2 Eucalyptus melt samples which burn for 80 hours. They smell incredible and if you’re interested in buying some for yourself or for a Mother’s day present you can find Emma at https://emmahopkins.partylite.co.uk or on Facebook here.
We’ve got a recipe coming up for you guys this week using this homemade Jalfrezi paste, keep an eye out for it.
Need inspiration for Mother’s day? Or looking for an Easter treat? Guylian have you sorted. We received this package from them this week including a box of their signature praline sea shells, a box of mini filled eggs and the spectacular flame egg – an Easter egg made with Belgian chocolate filled with 6 praline sea horses. It’s taken a whole lot of will power to not eat all of this myself!
We’ve had a relatively quiet week this week, with my first full week at work keeping me busy and pretty tired. Hopefully we’ll have more to chat about next week 🙂
What have you guys been up to this week? Let us know in the comments.
